WHEN

The program starts Wednesday, January 7, 2009 and runs for six consecutive weeks ending on February 11, 2009.    

WHERE

Summit Central Ski Area – Classes begin at 1:30 pm and end at 4 pm.  We depart from the school parking lot by 12:20 and return about 5:15 pm.  Lessons are provided through Alpine West Ski and Snowboard School.    

WHO

Classes are offered to 1^st through 5^th grade Enatai Elementary students.

CHAPERONES     

We need 4 chaperones each week.  If more than 4 are interested, we can rotate to accommodate everyone.  Chaperones must be Enatai PTSA members.    

COST

The cost for six weeks (lessons and transportation) is $285.  Students must purchase a Snoqualmie Summit season pass to participate (Youth (7-12)  Unlimited for $248.69 or Youth Ltd for $216.11).  This expedites the process on the hill and is actually more cost effective than purchasing a ticket each week.     

EQUIPMENT RENTAL                 

Ski and Snowboard rentals may be obtained through The Summit @ Snoqualmie while supplies last.  Skis/Boots/Poles or Snowboard/Boots - $107.32 for the season.  These prices include tax.  Rental fitting can be done at Stevenson Elementary School, Friday, November 14, 2008 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.  Sports Authority and Joe’s Sports also provide seasonal rentals.
