Community input needed on the 2010-11 school district budget
When the state finalizes its education budget, which will clarify how
much funding can be collected locally, there will limited time to
construct a balanced budget. Therefore, the budget process is beginning
now.
The school district is asking for
your input in several ways. First,
for ideas on possible cost savings
or revenue generation. Second, after
a potential list of cost savings and
revenue generation options is put
together, they will be asking for
you to provide input through a
survey. Third, there will be
community information sessions.
Fourth, a Fiscal Advisory Committee
will be convened to provide
recommendations to the
Superintendent.

district, and submit your input ...
Later this month, there will be
three Community Information Sessions
where parents, staff, and community
members can provide input and fill
out a survey designed to help the
district understand where we can
best accommodate cuts.
